Scope: Appoint a qualified service provider to restore, repair and secure the facility to ensure the safety, functionality and continuity of operations: 1. Restore Electricity Supply to the Facility: • Reconnect and restore full electrical power supply to the Helenvale Resource Centre; • Inspect, test and repair all damaged cables, conduits, DB boards and breakers; • Replace all compromised wiring and components as necessary; • Test and certify all electrical work in accordance with SANS and municipal regulations; 2. Secure and Protect Electrical Infrastructure: • Fabricate and install a lockable steel gate/enclosure around the main electrical distribution box to prevent unauthorized access; • Reinforce the rear perimeter (Devral Road side) with suitable physical barriers (to match existing infrastructure); • Repair and reactivate the damaged electric fence sections along the rear boundary; • Ensure the electrical enclosures and all associated infrastructure are tamper-proof and compliant with safety standards; 3. Repair and Service Gate Motor and Gate System: • Inspect, service and repair any gate motors; • Service or replace all gate rollers, hinges, alignment tracks and brackets; • Check and repair all sensors, safety beams, and limit switches (inputs and outputs); • Ensure the gate motor system integrates with GSM/remote control systems; • Replace damaged wiring and control units where required; • Ensure the entire gate assembly operates safely, smoothly, and in compliance with manufacturer specifications; • If irreparable, replace the motor and gate components with equivalent or higher-grade models (include product details and warranty in quotation). Scope: The intention of the contract is to ensure that the potable water and sewerage reticulation systems and infrastructure be kept in a 100% functional and reliable condition at all times. It is therefore envisaged that the successful Contractor’s duties shall include for the following: • Rewinding process: Will be the process of repairing a damaged electric motor, specifically those used in pumps, by replacing the damaged windings (the coils of wire that create the magnetic field) instead of replacing the entire motor; • Attend to callouts when notified by the Municipality in order to attend to/diagnose issues on the pump (re-wind); • The maximum response time to a normal work instruction will be twenty-four hours (i.e. within one working day) and that for an emergency work instruction will be four (4) hours after notification by the client; • Servicing and general preventative maintenance on plant and equipment as and when required; • Breakdown maintenance and repair on plant and equipment as and when required; • Rewind pump/repair motors and minor work on MCC panels during the course of rewinding the pumps, as required by the client during the course of the project; • Assisting the client in drawing up a detailed annual maintenance program for all equipment and plants. Mill reject box slide gates (top and bottom gates) - strip the slide gate to assess damage and refurbish slide gates to its original state; 10. Cleaning of fuel oil burner lances and testing thereof on the test rig; 11.
