Quotations are hereby invited for provision of electrical and security repairs at Helenvale Resource Centre as per specifications. Scope: Appoint a qualified service provider to restore, repair and secure the facility to ensure the safety, functionality and continuity of operations: 1. Restore Electricity Supply to the Facility: • Reconnect and restore full electrical power supply to the Helenvale Resource Centre; • Inspect, test and repair all damaged cables, conduits, DB boards and breakers; • Replace all compromised wiring and components as necessary; • Test and certify all electrical work in accordance with SANS and municipal regulations; 2. Secure and Protect Electrical Infrastructure: • Fabricate and install a lockable steel gate/enclosure around the main electrical distribution box to prevent unauthorized access; • Reinforce the rear perimeter (Devral Road side) with suitable physical barriers (to match existing infrastructure); • Repair and reactivate the damaged electric fence sections along the rear boundary; • Ensure the electrical enclosures and all associated infrastructure are tamper-proof and compliant with safety standards; 3. Repair and Service Gate Motor and Gate System: • Inspect, service and repair any gate motors; • Service or replace all gate rollers, hinges, alignment tracks and brackets; • Check and repair all sensors, safety beams, and limit switches (inputs and outputs); • Ensure the gate motor system integrates with GSM/remote control systems; • Replace damaged wiring and control units where required; • Ensure the entire gate assembly operates safely, smoothly, and in compliance with manufacturer specifications; • If irreparable, replace the motor and gate components with equivalent or higher-grade models (include product details and warranty in quotation).
