         Hankittavaan tiestötietojärjestelmien laatukonsultointi -palveluun kuuluu esimerkiksi seuraavia tehtäviä:

         – pienimuotoiset määrittely-, suunnittelu- ja testaustehtävät,

         – sovellustoimittajien tarjoamien teknisten ratkaisujen evaluointi,

         – ongelmatilanteiden selvittely yhteistyössä tilaajan ja sovellustoimittajien kanssa,

         – järjestelmien välisten integraatioiden ja rajapintojen vaatimat suunnittelu- ja laadunvarmistustehtävät,

         – järjestelmien ylläpito- ja kehityskokouksiin osallistuminen yhteistyössä tilaajan ja sovellustoimittajien kanssa,

         – arkkitehtuurikuvausten ylläpito tiestötietojärjestelmien osalta.

         Asiantuntija ei pääsääntöisesti osallistu varsinaiseen sovellusten koodaustyöhön. Kehitteillä olevan Tiestötietojärjestelmän (TTJ) asiatuntijatyöt eivät pääsääntöisesti kuulu hankittavaan palveluun.
