Procurement of access network and Wide Area Network (WAN) managed service
The provision to TfL Group, including the Greater London authority and its functional bodies, of Network services including:
— service management,
— work package delivery,
— design and technical assurance, Network transformation,
— provision of a core Wide Area Network (WAN),
— provision of access networks (local area networks) and
— network supporting services for an initial period of 5 years from the service commencement date with options to extend up to a maximum of a further 5 years.
The provision of Network services including:
— design and technical assurance, network transformation; provision of a core Wide Area Network (WAN),
— ability to extend the Services to other members of TfL Group including the Greater London authority and its functional bodies,
— incorporation of data centre networks within the scope of the agreement when TfL"s CoreIM agreement expires.
Access networks and WAN managed services
Field Engineering Services - approx. 8 %.
WAN Circuit Provision - approx. 17 %.

The bidders proposal price submitted in their financial models was divided by the quality points awarded to derive a GBP"s/quality point ratio. The successful bidder was the bidder with the lowest GBP"s/quality point ratio.
