Addendum: Amendment to submission and tender documents. Tenders are hereby invited for the following: Supply, support, maintenance and services of data protection infrastructure and licenses. Scope: The City seeks a skilled credible certified Data Protection partner who has the necessary current local skills and experience in order to support a complex data protection platform. This partner is preferred to have a physical presence with technical skills in Cape Town for the duration of the project in order to provide responsive support and maintenance services. This includes all software, hardware, services to expand, upgrade, refresh, operate and maintain this complex Data Protection environment. The following is a list of areas that are in scope. This list is by no means exhaustive, but indicative of the scope of this tender: • Hardware: Veritas backup appliances, and integration of existing Veritas backup appliances; • Software: application, licensing, maintenance, monitoring tools, management tools etc.; • Cloud: Cloud backup, recovery and storage with and for IAAS, SAAS and PAAS; • Services: upgrade, implementation, operation, maintenance, service level agreements etc.; • Any other interrelated components.
