Quotations are hereby invited for the following: Provision of brake tester calibration for Transnet Soc Ltd operating as Transnet Port Terminals at the Port of Richards Bay. Scope of work: - Carry out calibration on the Millitron brake force analogue box for accurate brake force values; - Carry out calibration on the Millitron keypad box to ensure that information and specifications fed is transferred to the printer; - Carry out calibration on the printer to prevent the paper jamming and ink smearing; - Carry out calibration the power button, stop button, emergency stop button, left motor button and right motor button for proper contacts and functioning; - Supply 2 x Millitron brake tester hand remotes and calibrate them for proper communication with the control box; - Lubricate all 8 x Roller bearings for smooth operation; - Remove 2 x metal covers for brake motors and panel beat them to their good acceptable condition; - Test and evaluate brake tester machine making sure of its good working standard; - Service provider to issue calibration certificate upon completion of calibration; - All material and components supplied must be SABS approved.
