Quotations are hereby invited for the following: Routes & signage study report. Scope: 1. Conduct a study on 6 different routes in the city: - The identification of well-motivated tourism routes within the City of Cape Town boundaries, clearly indicating where these should be located and include information on different tourist facilities, sites and attractions on these routes. The routes may have similar themes but located in different geographical areas of the City of Cape Town. 2. Packaging and marketing cultural experiences: - Develop a marketing plan for each route highlighting the cultural experiences along these routes with the aim to increase visitor numbers. Cultural experiences include all the aspects of how people live and the value it holds for tourism. These packages needs to speak to tourism demand and deliver tangible economic benefits to participants that offer the components of these routes. It has to make economic sense and contribute significantly to job creation. 3. Expanding interpretative signage: - These routes and experiences must be clearly sign posted and the study needs to indicate the location points of these signs which will provide a short description of the route or products.
