Quotations are hereby invited for the following: Provision for refurbishment of Mafi Haulers for Transnet Soc Ltd operating as Transnet Port Terminals. Scope: - The works that the contractor is to perform pertains to the structural maintenance, corrosion removal and painting of five (5) MAFI Haulers located at Transnet Port Terminals, Pier 2 Container Terminal in the port of Durban; - The purpose of the maintenance intervention is to preserve the asset and increase its useful lifespan; - The works to be executed on these Hauler"s is concentrated mainly on and around the H-Frame channels, cabin arrangement (interior, exterior, roof and guards), handrails, access staircases, fifth wheel, guard plates and side mirror mounting brackets; - The objective for this works is to ensure that the structural integrity of these Haulers remain intact; - The works needs to be planned and executed by employing a quality system methodology; - The Contractor must provide all the necessary resources such as skills, materials, tools, equipment, and labor as required to perform the works.
