Proposals are hereby invited for the following: Technical Management Services. Scope: The Service Provider will be responsible to create and execute the following: (a) Review technical reports; (b) Write technical reports and briefing notes; (c) Do basic energy modelling; (d) Prepare presentations; (e) Perform basic design calculations, techno-economic analysis and technical risks assessments; (f) Do literature survey and reviews; (g) Provide engineering support services to support the Chief Executive Officer (CEO); (h) Develop and maintain engineering support strategies, services and controls necessary to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the Office of the CEO; (i) Scanning and interpreting the international and local energy business environment to ensure that SANEDI CEO has access to engineering business best practices; (j) Assist the CEO in interpreting the business management environment and manage requirements to ensure alignment and to ensure compliance to business policies and directives; (k) Assist the CEO in driving the formulation and implementation of operational strategies to achieve the business objectives; (l) Assist the CEO to influence technical governance at SANEDI; (m) Assist the CEO in identifying and applying research support practice, suitable methodology and processes which are aligned with global standards to ensure repeatable and consistent delivery of energy research solutions; (n) Assist the CEO in establishing and maintaining relationship with other organisations to benchmark SANEDI practices and organisational maturity; (o) Assist the CEO to continually build relationships with key stakeholders at Executive and other levels, and comparable organisations; (p) Assist the CEO to manage SHEQ compliance across the organisation; (q) Assist the CEO in developing and establishing Technical Governance Framework for SANEDI; (r) Assist the CEO in managing the interns and ensuring they follow a set programme in line with their professional registration bodies.
