Formal written quotations are hereby invited from professional service providers for the construction of a bathroom at Riversdale Library. Specifications: 1) Remove the existing dry-wall and door as shown on plan; 2) Remove the existing carpet under the new walls and on the proposed toilet floor as well as on the external wall of the new toilet; 3) Break opening in the outer brick wall for the extractor fan and finish off; 4) Build new Nutec dry walls and install two doors as shown on plan. Walls to be anchored into the floor, existing walls and concrete celling and finished light tight under the existing concrete ceiling and walls; 5) Provided and install an approved wash hand basin and toilet, and couple up into the existing manhole as per drawing; 6) Provide and tile the toilet floor with approved tiles and seal joints with waterproof grouting; 7) Provide and tile an area of 600mm x 600mm above the wash hand basin. Seal joints with waterproof grouting; 8) Provide and install an 100mm aluminium skirting on both sides of the new dray walls; 9) Provide and install a hollow core toilet door and fit an indicator lock on the toilet door; 10) Provide and install a 3 X Lever lock set on the door to the store room; 11) Finish the doors with an undercoat of wood primer and two final coats of satin gloss paint in a colour to match the existing doors; 12) Cold and hot water piping to be taken from the existing kitchen; 13) Provide and install an approved toilet roll holder and 600mm chrome towel rail; 14) Shorten the existing top (next to sink) to make space for the fridge. Seal the edge with a melamine strip and waterproof adhesive; 15) Remove and relocate existing book shelf to new position as per drawings; 16) Electrical work: - Provide and install a bathroom wall light fitting with a 5W LED globe at door height on the southern dry wall with a switch on the outside of the northern dry wall next to the door; - Provide and install an extractor fan (capacity 3 x CUB met/min) in the northern external wall and connect up with the light switch.
