Scope: - System must be able to identify license plate numbers of moving vehicles up to 100km/h from IP video at 99.9% accuracy. - System must be capable to identify license plate numbers of moving vehicles up to 100km/h from IP video at 99.9% accuracy. - System must be cloud based and all data must be stored in South Africa. - Upon the identification of a suspect number plate, alerts including the image of the suspect vehicle will be sent directly to all approved users of a WhatsApp group as well as the approved email addresses provided. - Online access is required by approved WCDM officials to search the complete database against any license plate number entered in the system and to enter details of new suspect vehicles. - Secure and stable system connecting the numerous functions, users, data and services together in order to provide an early warning, intelligence-based investigations platform. - Integrates vehicle related metadata from ANPR cameras, analysis and processes the data, and dross references this with user compiled vehicles of interest and 3rd party (like SAPS circulations/Unicode/ICB) databases.
