Proposals are hereby invited for the following: Appointment of a Service Provider to Provide Psychosocial Support to Bojanala District under North West Province. AFSA seeks to appoint a service provider who, under the direction of respective DoHs, will provide psychosocial interventions to frontline workers in Health Care Facilities and Individuals in designated communities. The services to be rendered by the Service Provider shall be confined to its expertise, which services shall include the following: - Planning and delivering professional services and care of healthcare workers and individuals impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic and experiencing psychological difficulties as a result of involvement in a major incident or other trauma. - Post Covid-19 rehabilitation services, therapeutic assessments, individual counselling and referrals to support groups for further intervention. - Planning and providing related preventative services, to support mental health, wellness and prevent severe mental and/or psychological impact from Covid-19 pandemic. - Supporting clients access appropriate treatment, including making referrals on their behalf to mental health services. - Delivering interventions including one-on-one and group interventions. - Providing telephone and/or online counselling services and referrals. - Supporting health-care facilities with psychological response strategies. - Planning and co-coordinating Mental Health Awareness and Gender-Based Violence Awareness Campaigns.
