Quotations are hereby invited for the appointment of a service provider to render servicing of fire extinguishers, fire hose reels for KZN Provincial Office for a period of three (03) years, to be conducted once every year. Specifications: • Servicing of fire extinguisher, size 13.20kg - once a year x 7; • Servicing of fire extinguisher, size 12.90kg - once a year x 3; • Servicing of fire extinguisher, size 7.6kg - once a year x 5; • Fire extinguishers servicing and powder recharge – once a year x 16; • Servicing of hose reels - once a year x 5; • Servicing of fire hydrants - once a year x 1; • Replace faulty gas suppression control panel complete with batteries x 1; • Relocate one gas suppression cylinder- allow ceiling / slab mount bracket x 1; • Service fire detection system - issue COC - supply and install logbook and log x 1. Maintenance of the equipment: • The equipment must be maintained once a year excluding the suppression fire extinguishers cylinders; • Suppression Fire Extinguishers cylinders must be maintained twice a year.
