Scope of Work: The storage should be secure, climate-controlled vaults that provide the utmost protection against moisture, dust and contaminants and are weather and fire resistant with gas suppression, digitized inventory, disaster prepared, installed smoke detectors, water detectors, preservation measures, constantly monitored by CCTV, are strictly access controlled and are protected by perimeter fencing. Objectives: The client intends to appoint service provider for a period of 60 Months to undertake the following as of when required: - To ensure safe, secure and well-preserved records for future reference; - To manage our records in line with the provisions of the National Archives Act, 43 of 1996; - To appoint a qualifying service provider that will take over the management of the Housing Development Agency records, which are currently in an off-site storage facility. The project scope of work intends to address/evaluate quality of surface water, groundwater, stormwater, and sediment quality. The work will cover existing monitoring of flow rates and water levels at a total of 35 sites which comprises of: eight (8) sites along the Coega River, ten (10) investor sites and six (6) borehole stations and additional sediment analysis at eleven (11) points. Sampling and analysis of salts, metals, organics, and bacteria concentrations at these monitoring sites to determine the water quality will be conducted at least four (4) times annually for thirty-six (36) months. Through monitoring, pollution (if any) will be identified proactively, and control measures will be implemented to prevent further pollution of the surface water.
