Written tenders are hereby invited for the procurement of a Transaction Advisor (“TA”) to provide transaction advisory services to the client in respect of the Richards Bay Gas Fired Combined Cycle Power Plant Project, which is to be undertaken as a Private Sector Participation (PSP) project for a period of [24] months. Scope of work: • The TA will be required to review and analyse to familiarise itself with all Project background documentation (including studies and assessments) and preparatory work conducted by or on behalf of the client to date and in relation to Phase 1 of the TA Services, the TA is expected to undertake initial technical, financial, and legal framework reviews. Such review and analysis will include inter alia the following: • Existing reports, studies, assessments and audits, necessary to become familiar with the electricity sector in South Africa; • Information pertaining to the structure of the South African electricity market; • Existing financial forecasts, historical financial performance, and technical operating history of the client and • The responsibilities and relationships of Government and client in relation to and with other government entities and authorities at different levels.
