Proposals are hereby invited for the following: Provision of one Funky Locomotive with full maintenance and three train drivers at the Lohatlha Terminal for a period of 2 years. The key deliverables of this project will contain the following: a) The objective of this scope is to request provision of Locomotive with mass weight of 50 tons or more. b) TPT Lohatlha requires three Train Drivers with Certified Train Drivers License. c) The service provider must be able to provide the required equipment 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, including weekends and Public Holidays (inclusive of New Year’s Day, Worker’s Day and Christmas Day), in order to support TPT’s 24-hour operations, depending on availability of the cargo. d) It is expected of the successful bidder to ensure that equipment works without any interruption as a result of maintenance activities, fueling, inspections, etc. in order to ensure operational efficiencies and committed handling rates are met and/or exceeded.
