Transport of Packages and Goods (Aids)
The objective of the procurement is to enter into a nationwide Framework Agreement that covers NAV"s need for the transport of packages and goods, including aids.
NAV has 2 different transport needs that must be covered by this Framework Agreement.
— the need for transporting aids between the 18 NAV aid centres, for reusing aids,
— The need for transporting aids without a central Framework Agreement, from suppliers to all of the 18 aids centres.
Exceptionally, i.e. in under 5 % of cases, there will be a need for the aid to be transported from the aid supplier in Norway and directly to, respectively: a municipal aid storage or to a private person (user) with mobility limitations for whom that aid is intended.
The aids that are to be transported vary in nature, volume and weight. Examples of the types of aids that shall be transported are wheelchairs, rollators, mattresses, different accessories, bicycles, etc.
Limitations:
Transport of aids that NAV has a contract for that includes transport, are not covered by the procurement. Neither does the procurement include the transport of aids from the aid centres to municipal stores.
The Contracting Authority (Customer) has an option to extend the contract a further 2 times 1 year (1 year + 1 year).
Questions will not be answered in July, answers will be sent from 2 August.
