Re-advertisement: Proposals are hereby invited for the supply/provision of linking occupational health and hygiene data (ongoing) at clients mining division (Phalaborwa) for a period of 3 (three) years. Scope: The Client is currently looking at procuring a software license that can be used to link Occupational Health and Hygiene Data (Occupational Records and Medical Surveillance) as per specifications. The Scope of work from the appointed service provider includes, but not limited to: a) Bookings and registration; b) Medical surveillance; c) Primary Health; d) Managed Disease; e) Chronic Management; f) Vaccines; g) Injury on Duty; h) OREP (Occupational Configurable exposure groups (SEG’s or HEG’s); i) The ability to define and exposure group based on one or multiple properties such as organizational unit, workplace, occupational, and employer; j) Automatic linking of people to the exposure group based on the definition; k) Automatic re-allocation of people to the contract exposure group following a change to the person’s properties, for example change in occupation automatically move the person to the correct exposure group. Audit trail and reporting on the changes in the number of people in an exposure group and the reason for the changes; l) The automatic generation of a sampling plan for exposure groups; m) The number of samples and frequency is based on one of the following standards: i) South African Mines Occupational Hygiene Program (Number of samples is based on 5% of the exposure group and the frequency is based on the previous sampling results); ii) This percentage is configurable; iii) Minimum Quantity Standard (Number of samples is based on a minimum quantity related to the size of the exposure group. The frequency is based on the type of substance and previous results. Frequency needs to be configurable; n) The generated plan creates a daily sampling plan based on random samples with the required sample size and frequency; o) The plan is represented in a calendar view as well as reporting on the number of samples required per year, month, week, or day per exposure group; p) The ability to re-schedule moves items as required on the plan; q) The actual number of accepted samples are compared to the plan to report on sampling progress; r) Occupational and Occupational Group risk; s) Person Hazard Risk Rating; t) Exposure Group Hazard Risk Rating; u) Saving data on the system (40 years).
